The BCP Partnership Academy is a dedicated professional development centre designed for children’s services practitioners at all levels.

The BCP Partnership Academy provides a framework which promotes and enables a professional learning culture, improving professional excellence and driving up standards to deliver high-quality consistent practice to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families.

The Academy offers a range of developmental opportunities to expand on professional knowledge and skills with a variety of delivery methods to build on your career pathway.

The Academy delivers training and professional developmental opportunities for the following:

• training and continuing professional development for BCP Children’s Services workers
•  support for students with placements, supervisors and practice educators
• those newly qualified undertaking the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
• post qualified practitioners
• aspiring managers
• managers and leaders
• partners.

All staff in Children's Services also have access to a range of online research and information resources including our own Learning Hub and we are members of Research in Practice and Community Care Inform online.
